Peter Hoy (RHP)
Peter was an ONC Player for 3 seasons starting in 1994. Prior to his tenure with ONC Pete was drafted in 1988 by the Boston Red Sox in the 33rd round out of Lemoyne College (Syracuse). He postponed the start of his professional career so he could maintain his amateur status to represent Canada in the 1988 Seoul Olympics. In his college career at Lemoyne, Hoy was 19-5 with a 2.30 ERA and legendary Lemoyne coach Dick Rockwell maintains that of all those he has coached, if he had to win one game Hoy would be his starter and calls him their best ever on the mound. Pete's pro stats: 28-35 Won-Loss record, 3.14 ERA, 39 Saves, 291 Games, 15 Starts, 552 2/3 Innings, 191 Walks, 284 Strikeouts and as a major leaguer with the Sox: 0-0 Won-Loss record, 7.36 ERA, 5 games, 3 2/3 innings, two walks, two strikeouts. Following his playing career, Hoy joined the staff at Lemoyne and in 2010 was named the head coach of St. Lawrence University Saints.
