Donald Campbell

Donald's (DC, Donnie) first season was in 1977 and his last time on the field was over 30 years later. The number of collegiate, provincial, national and professional players he has coached and positively influenced was staggering during that time. Donald transformed the organization over time from a Junior and Senior Men's program to one that focused on the high school/collegiate athlete. He built and maintained, through all of the transition, a player first culture that remains today as the cornerstone of ONC Baseball. In large part, it is due to his direction and dedication that ONC celebrated its milestone 50th season. Mr. Campbell was the City of Ottawa's inaugural Brian Kilrea Award for Excellence in Coaching (2012) and has continued in varying capacities as a long serving member of the PBLO board.
